its so annoying that a small apple has 12 net carbs. I mean its still less than a banana but jeez. I wanted a after dinner "sweet" so I decided to treat myself and made a small fruit salad with blueberries, strawberries and the smallest apple in the world but it still had a huge impact on my net carbs. But you know what? I dont give AF.. an apple is apple for pete's sake, i could have had a blizzard, sheesh.. ill go super low carb to make up for it tomorrow and Im not going to let myself feel guilty for enjoying a piece of fruit. I just needed to post that and get that out so I dont stress over that apple all night LOL, ya im a dork like that. Ill spend the whole night googling apples till i fall asleep.. I'm slacking on my water today and about half way there bc i forgot my water bottle when i went out today BUT there is still time to make it up..Other than that, today was productive and I remembered to LOG everything..

@wyolady, no worries and no offence taken...we want you to succeed here as much as anybody!! I've found that there's a lot of knowledge to be gained here as long as you have an open mind and are willing to do a little research yourself, take care.

I can relate! I love fruit too and it is shocking & discouraging to see the sugar content. I nibble on pears or apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon - it is better than candy!

All carbs are not created equal. Simple, complex, soluble fiber, insoluble fiber. Chose the apple every time!
