Just saw my chiropractor for my pain and I have to pass several fast food places on the way back to work including my favorite Potbelly. I happily resisted getting any lunch and instead am back at my desk with my green tea. I have been know to make a stop for lunch after my appts and I'm glad I have the willpower. I CAN DO IT!

I find when I have to run, the best thing I can do for myself is to bring along a tuna sandwich or something similar that I can have on the run, and leaves me with no good reason to stop at a drive through.

Funny, I have heard of Potbelly, but none here in Cali, I don't think. I want to try it.

@Warrenwinter: they're like what Subway could have been if Subway was actually good!! If you ever make your way to the Windy City, Potbelly is a MUST! They have sandwiches called "Unwiches" where they scoop out the bread for those of us trying to watch our carb intake, but still need a little crunch in your bite!

Thanks all. My son and I actually did get Potbelly for dinner last night but I got it 'skinny' which is what they call it here for us carb watchers. I got no mayo just lettuce and onions on it. It was good and a good treat. And very filling. My Chiropractor is only about 5 minutes from my office and I usually have my appts about 1030 so its lunch when I get back. I'm thinking of changing my appt times if any are available to avoid the distractions. Again thank you all so much. The support means so much to me.
