Well, I survived inspection (whew!) but still have a lot to sort out and pack for my journey tomorrow.
I also have a close friend who just returned late yesterday after over a month away. She just buried her father over the weekend and her mother is in her 90's and doing very poorly. I spent until almost midnight with her last night and will be visiting her again later today. She's having a very hard time with this but I'm really glad I can spend at least some time with her before I leave. She was a neighbor and very close friend of my mom as well.
My daughter called and is doing so well she may be going home tomorrow. Lilly is doing great and having no issue with breast feeding, yay!
As for me.. I'm off. I have no idea if I'll be able to pop back in here while I'm away as I imagine, I'll have my hands full. So for a few weeks at least, I'll be seeing how I do without journaling my food lol. I'm not even taking my food scale. This could be a good test to see how much I've really learned.

Ruby, I was gone over the weekend so didn't see your little package until just now but Congrats grandma she is precious! Enjoy your trip and do not worry about us in FS land we will be here waiting for many baby stories!!! Very sorry for your friend about the loss of her father that is very sad.
