I'm not sure if I reading this right but say if I ate 1000 calories and burned off 500 wouldn't my calories be down 500? The way I'm reading it burning calories doesn't count. It's not I want to burn them off to eat more, just don't understand the Fat Secret way. Can anyone explain? Sometimes I want a big kind of healthy breakfast, stay under calorie intake, but want to burn off some of the calories by exercising.

If you want to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you're eating. 1000 calories would be too low. The best way to make your metabolism better is to weight train and eat 1 gram per pound of body weight per day and just stay active like walk 30 mins to an hour each day, swim or any activity that you enjoy. If you do an activity you actually enjoy, you'll be more willing to stick to it

Fat Secret said they already factor in my exercise so the amount I have for calories is 1300.

I do walk, swim, go on stationary bike and weight train. I switch it around so don't get bored.
