Dinner by myself on Thursday, was supposed to be a date (with dinner), but turned out to be a beer in a bar, with an hour and half of (trying) to get to know each other conversation. Said he had to get up for work at 4 AM, so nothing further was mentioned about food.

Said he'd call Saturday, well, it's Saturday and haven't gotten a call or text. doesn't surprise me in the least. Just tired of putting myself through this in trying to find a nice gentleman I can care about and want to spend time getting to know. Ugh, the whole dating thing is so overrated!!

So, took myself off to Old Chicago and had spagetti pie and a brew. Didn't go over the calorie count as all I'd eaten all day was a banana and cup of tea.
