Down in weight again. See pic below.

Breakfast was 2 fried eggs, 2 tamales and one calabasas.


Thought I would share my beginning handheld journal entry followed by the latest. These are about 4 months apart. And the first entry began about 3 months after starting the new regimen. On April 15th when I began, I weighed 230 pounds. Here is the format:
weight first thing
fasting bloodsugar
Bike ride time total
miles ridden
calories burned
bloodsugar after ride
blood pressure reading.

I pretty much know what foods to avoid so rarely test sugar anymore unless after a buffet trip for example. My b/p unit has dead batteries and it is rarely used now.




Bike ride to be updated in a few.

Tried to use the different options of my new exercycle, did 30 minutes broken down as follows: 10 minutes legs ony, 6.5 minutes arms only and 13.5 both arms and legs. 5.87 miles and 215 calories burned. Really feel like I had a workout this time.

Del Taco for dinner:one chicken"street vendor style"taco,mini bacon quesadilla,deluxe taco which has sour cream and a bean-and-cheese cup. Tasted fantastic!

Who says you can't eat some fast food and lose weight? Who says you can't eat what some would consider "huge" plates or bowls of food and lose weight or maintain? Scroll through the pages of this journal and look at the photos I present as evidence. I submit it is the "huge" amount of sugar, including High Fructose Corn, found in the "eating out of the box" foods found on the supermarket shelves that is the main cause for the obesity epidemic in this country.
