sonnymac's Journal, 16 Oct 15

End of the line here.

I have asked for help a couple of times through the site over "this unexpected error has occurred issue." I have posted a request for help on the forums with no response.

It is obvious to me that I have run afoul of the site algo's which have flagged my account for rapid gain or loss, beyond the "normal" parameters. And there is seemingly no interest in offering assistance being displayed by the site operators.

I am leaving this journal up for folks to look at. You will see that in at least 9 out of 10 entries I post photos of my scale with my feet on it. You can't fake that. Just because I felt there might be "doubting Thomas's" here and elsewhere, I did it almost from the very beginning.

There are many photos of food that I eat at a meal. Yes, I have lost weight eating huge meals, yes I have lost weight eating selected "fast food" and yes I have lost weight "eating out of a jar" as someone told me here.

I even had a university student here try to "out-doctor" my doctor, saying I wasn't prediabetic, prompting me to post this image below of my medicine bottle, medicine prescribed by my physician for my condition, which a read of yesterday's entry will show has dramatically improved:

To the newbies here, you do not have to be a slave to counting calories. Period.

I sure as Hell don't. But you need to get a generic idea. Do some research.
Make a plan. Try to stick to it but adapt to the circumstances that you face.
Not everyone has a gourmet cook that they live with either. I understand that.

But let me end with a weightloss plan that I tried 10 years ago that worked for me and may not have been totally healthy but I lost 16 pounds in around 6 or 7 weeks and quit only because I was ridiculed by a family member visiting who made fun of me pedalling away on the exercycle.

30-45 minutes a day on the exercycle
breakfast at McDonalds, a combo with coffee
lunch a chicken salad from Carls Jr
dinner a Healthy Choice tv dinner

I did that everyday, the same thing, heavy fast food exposure, and still lost weight. I did it everyday.

Just try to do your plan everyday. Take things a meal at a time, one day at a time, and watch the pounds come off. Take the time to read other people's journals. See what works and doesn't for them.

And most importantly. Don't beat yourself up if you "fall off the wagon." You got enough on your hands without adding that to the mix.

Buena Suerte.
