My husband had this but he waited 2 weeks to see a doctor. They said the eye was dead there wasn't anything they could do but help his pain. if it becomes too painful they will remove it

Glad you were able to receive treatment please get well soon. You are correct any kind of eye trouble should be treated immediately the first 24 to 48 hours are critical. In many cases unfortunately nothing can be done so the earlier you can go the better. I know my team did their best to help me with my issues with my eye but unfortunately even with the best of treatments and lots of steroids nothing could be done to help my eye I'm glad that you were able to receive treatment quickly and effectively. Such a scary issue be very careful with your care and recover as quickly as possible. I hope your not in too much discomfort over the next few days as your recovery proceeds. 🙏

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. The gas bubble put in the eye will blur my vision for a month. The doctor was very young or maybe I am very old. Sorry to hear of your struggles too.

No worries love when I first went into the ER they were hoping that it was a retinal detachment but it didn't end up being that. My family has had a history of retinal detachment so yours are best case solution at the time but I promise you life can always be much much worse. Once they moved me into the stroke Ward the next concern is they actually thought I had MOG which apparently can be fatal so I promise you I am much happier having MS which has treatment options and much more positive outcomes. I'm also very pleased that it was me that this happened too and not one of my children something I like to remember when I want to feel sorry for myself is always could have happened to the children isn't that scary. See when you think of it that way I'm extremely lucky that this happened to me and I can do something about it instead of having to one of my children and I had to sit by and fret and feel guilty.
