I will go with the lower weight on my new and calibrated digital scale. Which I reweighed myself about 3 times extra and it said the same thing.
First pic is from the old(but still new scale)
Next pic is from my brand new scale. I really like this Eatsmart Precision
Digital Scale, the highest number of good and excellent ratings on Amazon.
Yesterday I had 1 serving of steel cut oats in the morning. For lunch I had a large Wendy's chile and for dinner I had 2 chicken tamales from Alberto's. A couple of times I had a big spoon of peanut butter.
I know it isn't everybody's choice but it works for me. My girlfriend is doing a yardsale so I doubt she'll be cooking so I may do a repeat today of yesterday.
Wrong! This is her chicken with spinach, potatoes etc. Told you she thinks I am getting too skinny, this is a huge plate full!!! But I love it!
EDITI took a good look in the mirror the other day after I posted that photo of me sitting under the cottonwood tree on that hot desert trail. Now I think I get why my girlfriend thinks that I am starting to get too skinny. My cheeks look sunken in whereas before the starting of this diet journey I had a rounder face, but not quite chipmonkey if you dig.
Seems like with me the fat is dropping off faster everywhere other than where it needs to get off first, around my belly. That is quite a bit smaller but I still have the overhang and smaller love handles. This is part of what is driving me to try to get to 175-179, hoping all that will vanish.
I am not sure that it will even at that lower weight. If I made it to 175 that would be a total loss of 55 pounds since I started on 4/15/2015. So far this has been a self directed effort, do you think perhaps signing up with a health club might be the next step needed? I am not trying to have a "six pack" abdomen just trying to get rid of the obvious issue. Any advice will be much appreciated!
I may end up joining a club anyway, my exercycle is starting to sound like it is on its' last legs!
