Take heart, this is more likely to be the body restocking glycogen storage as a result of the carbs - and that means some water comes with it - 3g of water for every 1g of glycogen. I know it can be frustrating, but remember - to gain a pound or so overnight, you'd have to eat 3500 calories above and beyond what you needed in a 24 hr period - unless you went out and ate three big pizzas or somesuch, there's no way this is "fat" gain. :) Also remember - everyone's bodies can fluctuate 1-2 lbs normally through the day; so don't let it get to you. :)
