Sometimes i weigh myself earlier than once every week to two weeks, and i get really discouraged because the number on the scale never seems to budge as quickly as i want it to. during those times, i try to step back and look at things i've accomplished that don't involve the scale, but do involve my efforts to become a healthier me:
i can lift heavier things than i used to be able to. i can almost walk up a flight of stairs without being winded(hey i'm still working on it haha!). i feel better in general. i have more energy and can wake up easier without coffee. my skin looks and feels clearer and more healthy. my hair is growing quicker than it would if i was just eating junk.
i think sometimes we put so much pressure on the scale and forget to realize that there are a million different factors(bloat, time of day, we've gained muscle etc) into why we weigh what we do at the exact moment we step on it. sometimes you just gotta look at the bigger picture! even if i never lose another pound in my life, as long as i am as healthy as i can possibly be, it shouldnt matter to me.
