Finally fed up with my fat and starting today fixating on getting to 180. Once and only once i reach that goal will i have a cheat day. I have looked back over the years and i yoyo but that is stopping today.

We all get to that point of ‘enough is enough’ and go all in with an I-can-do-it attitude; I’ve done this MANY times myself. The problem is that we are setting the bar too high and being “perfect” by never having a cheat day is just not attainable in the real world. What I have found is that, for me, when I have a day where I didn’t make the best diet choices or didn’t exercise, I GET BACK ON THE HORSE. So many times in the past, I just gave up because I wasn’t being perfect and felt like a failure. But I think when we can come to the realization that a healthy lifestyle is forever and doesn’t stop when we make a mistake or even when we reach our goal. It’s a lifetime commitment and so we have to be kind to ourselves on the not-so-great days. I really find this app so helpful, not just the calorie counting but seeing the support from the community! Cheers!
