4/21: Fasting Blood Sugar 7.3 mmol/L

Trying to knock something into my oh so stubborn head is heel on wheels sometimes. I gotta remember that just because it says it's gluten free doesn't mean it's good for me. GAWD!!!

My son brought home a treat 2 nights ago and he had read the ingredients to make sure it was gluten free. But I ignored the fact of the sugar load this so called treat had and screwed with my blood sugar, again. One day I will learn?!? Eventually...some day...lol.

Actually, yesterday was all messed up also because I had taken the dose of Metamucil & Restorlax together as per the gastro Dr. Yeah, that is some crazy stuff right there in itself. I may have to rework the original dosage recommended and take it down by half or even a quarter of it. My gut is in an uproar more so now that before that damn procedure. The amount of gas that is still roaming my small intestines and causing me grief by not being able to release it; is a sign to me I have to go smaller and slower. Thankfully I don't see the gastro Doc until end of July for the follow-up. Gives me plenty of time to play around with this concoction and figure out what will work. I'm still trying to stay positive about it but my tolerance level for this sort of stuff is at an all time low. And I'm fighting my head on this as well. Double whammo.

Anyways, I think I am going to try and enjoy some of this nice sunny day outside on my balcony of course and watch the construction of a building going into the back yard of a house across the street while patiently watching/waiting for the garden center to open at Lady York (maybe another week or so?) so I can figure out what is going into my balcony garden this year. Definitely at least one Krim tomato plant!!
