Fasting blood sugar is 6.2 mmol/L!

Day 4 of being under 7.0 mmol/L and my lowest number yet. Part of this journey will be about recording and sharing my fasting numbers daily. I find it really weird seeing numbers like this as I haven't seen them in a very long time. I also didn't have a meter for, I dunno, about 7 years I'm guessing (I broke my last one & never replaced it). And I am sure I will have days where that fasting number will jump above 7.0 but I hope those are infrequent.

I've also decided that I will record my weight weekly rather than daily because I yo-yo a lot as I am dealing with tons of inflammation due to other health issues. So yes, while weight loss is important, it's not the number #1 thing for me. The other thing that is not #1 or #2 for me is exercise. And before anyone goes "you've got to exercise too", realize as I've said that I have other health issues I am dealing with concurrently. I tend not to share all that is wrong with me and try to focus on the positive but perhaps in the next couple of days I will journalize them. We will see.
