Today's fasting blood sugar is 6.5 mmol/L.

Three days in a row with blood sugar being under 7.0. It only took me three months to finally get it there but hey, I'm a happy camper regardless.

I've always been a coffee only sort of gal for "breakfast" but that breakfast lasts about 4 hours while I slowly drink 2 16-oz cups of coffee.

I think today for lunch (mid-afternoon) I will be doing some bacon and eggs and then tonight? hmmm, not sure yet but most likely meat only. I am also thinking of trying to cook bacon in my air fryer my son bought me for Christmas. That baby has been used almost daily since it arrived. I still have not used my oven which means my overly sensitive smoke detector has not gone off...lol.

What I like about this journal is that I can come back and add more to it as the day progresses.

And just like that I changed my mind. Munching on some left over cottage roll from last night as my first real meal of the day.
