Fitness trackers are handy tools, I had one for years, but don't use it anymore. it was good for sleep, some heart tracking, and steps (sort of, it tracks high). I think they are great for anyone starting a fitness journey. I find calorie trackers (here) and having a physical activity you enjoy the most important thing. Fitbit has a calorie tracker, and it was getting much better as years went by and the collective data base grew, making it a solid tool for sure. Ultimately after 5 years with it and following the guidance it gave me, I managed to stay overweight the entire run. 😀
