I want to share something here tonite and it has nothing to do with FS but in a way it does. I took my son to the Navy recruiter today. He has his heart set on enlisting once he graduates. And some of you may know, I have been dieting and working out with my 17 yr old son since the new year. He has always been a husky boy and big eater and sadly, he is/was overweight. We started this journey together this new year, not just for me bc I wanted to lose weight but for him to bc i knew he wanted to enlist. Ive lost about 30 lbs and he has lost around 21 lbs. Anyway today we found out he needs to drop one size.. he is 38 and needs to be 36 to enlist BUT that is still ok bc he was size 40 a few months ago. Anyway, the reason Im sharing is bc one, I am super proud of my son for all his hard work and his motivation and real honest need to be part of something and to serve his country but also bc today has given me a new reason to work harder at this.I announce here to you all of you my fat secret friends, bc i consider you all my friends, that I Andee, am committed to working hard at losing weight, eating right, and working out and being a good source of support for my son!! GO Michael !! I love you... and we can do this together !
