Does belly fat ever go away, I’ve been working out for over a year, slightly healthy eating but can get rid of it I’m trying to go back to cardio as well as carrying on with weights maybe that will help

unfortunately spot reduction isn't a thing :( but diet plays a massive role in fat loss. definitely keep doing what your doing weights and cardio can only help! be patient you will see the results you're looking for!

Thank you for being my 1 comment yes diet is the hardest thing, the battle to eat healthy for me is even harder than leg day it’s such a struggle I struggle to prepare food and my mind goes blank when it comes to recipes

You have to be in caloric deficit, everyone is different so just search for a caloric calculator online, fill in your details and it will tell you. It’s not as low a number as you’d think, go out of your way to get 8,000 steps a day, continue with weights and you’ll see the number on the scale go down Unfortunately belly fat is the last to go, so every other part of you will see quite a drop in body fat before it goes from your belly, but just keep going. Consistency over time is the key point for weight loss. You can do it!!!

Thanks Kash I want to get in a caloric deficit but the weathers so cold at the moment I don’t know wether to just eat as healthy as I can and maintain my normal calories not sure what they are will use the calculator as suggested I’m doing hyper trophy training as opposed to strength training hopefully that will help my body composition as well as healthy eating and some cardio then when it’s warmer get in that calorific deficit
