Went out with Ian yesterday...on our bikes! We biked from my work, down to the beaches, about a 45 minute ride. We stopped on the boardwalk and had a treat: soft serve ice cream. Mmmm!
Then it was about an hour or so to get back home.
After riding in the humidity (it was about 32 with the humidex), we decided the last thing we wanted to do was get in the kitchen and cook. So we headed to the neighbourhood pub. Shared a basket of sweet potato fries and I had a grilled veggie panini with melted brie. Delicious! And, best of all, I don't feel overstuffed or sluggish today. Guess riding for two hours gets your body burning in lots of ways! ;)
Today is hot and sticky again...and I have to do laundry and go grocery shopping and clean the dishes and the bathtub. Plus, I have to get all our fans out of storage and wash all the dust off them and find the extensions cords. (We don't have AC...*boo*...)
