Well, Christmas and throwing any eating rules out the window cost me a 1.6 pound gain, but that's alright. I know I'll lose it quick. I've got 3 weeks until my half marathon so today I walked about 4.5 miles, tomorrow I plan on doing an 8 miler.
I ate well today. A bit more carbs in bread and chips but nothing too bad. A really green shake gave me all the nutrients I need. I want to begin eating food like its fuel.
Happy days indeed.

That's right, food = fuel. And with those miles, you need it. Did I tell you how lethargic I felt after my christmas sweets? Can't have that & walk 8 miles, or 13.6. Today, we're headed to Cheboygan for hockey. It's a little over an hour away. 2 games, so that means we're expecting to be home around 3:30. I'll check back in later. 🐣
