Today is not a good day. I did not sleep more than maybe 2hrs total last night. This morning I wake up to a firetruck and police car parked by my driveway. A fireman is on his way up to my door and im like huh? Apparently there was a gas leak right by my house. The trucks just left, they were out there awhile, not sure what is going on now. My husbands old boss didnt pay him, just to be a prick, so we need diapers for 2 kids food for 6 people and not very much money in the bank. We did have an emergency fund but the car went and there went the fund. His new job wont give him a pay check for 2 weeks so what do I do? I must believe it will all work out. I am just so tired and worn out. I am not losing weight, I know because of all the stress and not sleeping. I am sending all 4 kids down for a nap so I can lay in bed, I pray the baby sleeps so I can rest. I just want to cry.

im so sorry that you are going through this...could your husband ask for a small advance - alot of companies are doing this now, with things being as rough as they are???..hang in there...

what a drag!! difficult enough to have a lack of sleep but then financial worries and firetrucks??? egads!!! food banks are not just for people who are homeless. most communities have one and although it may not be what you would typically eat you could get a few staples there. our local food bank sometimes even has diapers. how about your church? most churches have a fund set up to help in emergencies as well ... is there someone you could call at your church? I've been through tough times & for me it has been embarrassing to ask for help, believing I "should" be able to handle my own business. However, I have had to ask for help and am now so glad I did. Oh yes, I have heard Wal-Mart sometimes donates "defective" diapers ... I think the "defective" part is just that the box has been smashed in or something like that. You might call, explain the fix your in ... find out what organization they donate to. Hang in there ... my thoughts and prayers are with you and your clan ... this too shall pass and another day will come with more sleep and more money!!! Take care!!

Thanks gals. To top it all off I have a toothache and tummy ache. It will be ok, a friend of ours invited us for dinner tomorrow and hopefully we will get his paycheck early this coming week. God is good all the time and He will get us through. I even found some diapers in an old diaper bag so we have a few left now.
