I journal all my food for breakfast and lunch and snacks in between prior to eating them. It creates less effort doing it that way and I am not constantly counting points. I know all that I can and bring to work to eat throughout the day and it creates less effort for me. It actually makes it simpler.

I do that too, when I can. Dinner is harder for me but during the day while I'm at work I can do this easily!
