Hey Pal, You're a winner, it'll pass, and you'll lose those bootlegged pounds those scale inflicted pounds. Try checking out a low carb approach. Back in the day, when I used to rucksack it, I learned that (in my case), exercise would keep me toned up, but it didn't shed pounds. My metabolism required a protein-heavy/carbs-light regimen. Give it a shot for a mere 7 to 10 days; it works. In the meantime, stay cool and give 'er hell.

Thanks kid for your support!!!

My support? Au contraire, it's your support that really rocks: I haven't been called "kid" for over half a century.

I almost called you kiddo but for some reason I stuck with "kid". Glad you are happy and not offended! I took your advice and ate turkey meat without the bread for lunch. I will never go on a high protein/low carb diet again. Did the South Beach Diet in September 2001 and had an acute (one time only) gall stone attack. I was in agony during a 3-day weekend. If I had had a gun I would have shot myself. This type of diet does not agree with my system. Sorry if this is too much info. Will try to not blather on and on next time we "chat".

No offence taken; not too much info; never a blather, and my apologies for suggesting a diet that causes more problems than its worth. I should have remembered that it's never a "one size fits all", in the wonderful world of metabolism, digestive systems and weight loss. You've got determination and will lose that extra poundage.

Hi There! Please don't be worried only because of your weight, especially if you have been training. It could simply be your muscles that are developing. Muscles weight a lot more than fat. You should try to go by weight but also by waist circumference or body fat % if you train or do a lot of exercise :)
