I have (note it is already happening, not a dubious promise for future behaviour) cut down on carbs, especially random snacking on chocolate and popcorn and other deliciousness; I have made my portions smaller and ever so slightly reduced my alcohol intake; I have increased my daily movement (partly because housework in a large house is never-ending). I can see a steady weight loss which is heartening :-)
