Made this Millionaire’s Shortbread for Robert Burns night this week. It’s traditional Scottish Shortbread with a caramel layer on top, and then a chocolate layer on top of that. I’m not too tempted by sweets, so I don’t eat it, but lots of people enjoy it.

I used a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar to make the chocolate topping. A real Cadbury bar - made in the UK, not one of the ones made by Hershey.

Did you precede that with some neeps, tatties and a proper haggis accompanied by a reading of its ode?

Thanks everyone, and Yes, I also made neeps & tatties, and others brought haggis, vegetarian haggis, shepherds pie, Mac and cheese, and corn pudding. And of course, the Scotch was flowing throughout - Irn Bru for the non-drinkers - and the pipers were keeping us entertained. It was a proper tribute and feast!
