Had a great weekend! Totally enjoyed my time w/ my husband, and my kids! Got some 'house projects' completed :))) And even managed to fit in some time for me!!! (did some long awaited reading w/ a good book).

Mentally ready to 'up' my game - need to push past this 140 barrier. Not entirely sure all of the factors that went into my immediate slow down / stall... as soon as I reached my original goal. It was almost like somebody flipped a switch and told my insides ...'yeah, you did it...now you can stop.'

Only trouble is I am still in the mindset of wanting to reach the 135 mark. Spring and summer are fast approaching - and it would be my preference to have that 5 lb leaway between 135 - 140. NOT 140-145. SO>>> still some work to be done.

The big question is how to do that. I basically eat very low carb now as it is...

So, I have decided to re-initiate the Carb Ladder in OWL. But I will work on maintaining a calorie deficit by eating 1350-1500 calories/day... and making sure I get to the gym EVERY DAY - as opposed to every OTHER day - and see if that extra activity, and a few more carbs to fuel the system...helps.

Not a big fan of the calories in vs. calories out mantra...but I do believe at this weight, my body is definitely lowered it's metabolism, and is surviving quite well on 1600-1800 calories a day.

I am only looking to create a mild deficit for an average 1/2 - 1 lb loss a week.

Hoping to reach my goals by May 1st !!!

well, when it finally comes together...and it does work...and it WILL work!!! (just some positive thoughts there!) than I will be able to help more of you when you get down to where you are working so hard to be!!! We all benefit from each other's successes!!!
