We use ground peanuts for khichdi and i throw away potato but i m too fast-forward to follow fast... Not talking about navratri though...

why always women put a fast for all our rituals, why not men! i wud also fast for 9 days seeing u nw. ty for inspiring

If this much quantity for fasting then how much you eat at normal time. 😊🙏

It's not about men or women to fast. In our family, we cut down on rice, oil and atta. We eat fruits and basic boiled things to eat for 9 days. We also refrain from eating non veg or drinking alcohol for 9 days. Fasting is not like muslim style not eating anything the whole day, we hydrate ourselves and take this as a challenge to eat healthy food for straight 9 days
