Squiggs this has to be so hard for you to see what is going on in Japan after what has just happened to your city. Still praying for you and those in Japan. Love and Hugs{{{}}}

Squiggs, so glad that you are okay. I saw that they had issued a tsunami warning for NZ and I was worried. I am just heartbroken over all the devestation to Japan as well as NZ. Still praying for you, your family, your fellow countrymen, and now the Japanese people as well. I am seeing the first pictures by daylight and it reminds me of the scenes from Hurrican Katrina. There are people everywhere trapped on their roofs from the tsunami. Lord, please help them! Big hugs to you my dear friend....I know that this is so hard for you, as you are still living it!

I think we are just having a really bad period of time for natural disasters. We live on an unstable world and I guess sometimes it just reminds us. I am so glad your brother wasn't still there! Malaysia should be fine, I can't remember ever feeling an earthquake there all the times we had holidays there. Hugs!

Thanks Sarahsmum, we are safe, getting through the aftershocks again, not fun, but am eternally grateful that we didn't have a tsunami as well!

Yup Cindy, empathy is a rough ride soemetimes. I physically felt ill last night watching the tv coverage - my heart broke for those involved there. We are sending rescuers over there, as well as sending the Japanese rescuers home themselves.

I have to turn the tv off every now and then Bren, they call it compassion overload, and it hits me usually after 3 days but making sure I don't turn into a blubbering mess while we still have stuff to deal with here.

We have had some waves up north Stef, but nothing bad. Thanks for your continuing prayers. What a mess in poor Japan. Our earthquake seems trifling compared to what Japan is going through.
