I did very well but didn't loose any weight yet. So I reset my RDI to be sedentary so that I am allowed less calories. We'll see how this next week goes. My only very small cheats were about 2 TBLs each of cheese and sour cream that came on something I ordered. so that is great for a whole week. I'm pleased. I just need less calories and especially less salt.

What diet plan are you on? Sometimes it is the little change that make a big difference .

I'm doing low carb, high fat and I love it. Because you consume fat its filling so you are not hungry. I'm doing 80% fat, 15% protein and 5% carbs. I have a way to go before I reach my goal... but I'm learning a lot.

The only downfall with the program you are on is when you eat something that is not part of the program. It changes what you ate from low carb to high calorie and high fat diet

On a low carb you should not have tater tots, and you left too many calories on your RDI for after lunch. I would love to help coach you if you want me to. I am not a professional but I know diets I finally found what works for me . Last year I weighed 236 I now weigh 185. But, I will work with you with whatever plan you like.

Ashmae, I appreciate your wanting to help me but in all honesty, I know I shouldn't be having tater tots and I'm not sure we all want people telling us what we should and shouldn't be eating. especially when we're admitting to everything we're eating. I do know your hearts in the right place. It's just a bit much. But thank you anyway. I can see what you're doing is working for you.

Kimberly Rae, are you using the FS calculator for your RDI, if so you might want to try this one....
http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html
many on this site find the FS one on the high side. and I agree with you on the sodium watch. more and more important as we age. So on that note, have you tried making your own taco seasoning mix instead of a package? so easy and no msg or other chemicalls included in that package..

As you can see there is 1 tspn of sea salt but I use only 1/4 of a teaspoon and I don't think I even need that.
(makes about 3 Tablespoons)
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
