just a thought because I drive myself nuts. focus on one thing. if u want to Increase muscle mass don't worry about weight. that's just going to do dumb stuff. I'm all over the place on the scale and any little bit of body fat and I freak. but I'm lifting much heavier than before. so gain now cut fat later. cut yourself some slack.

Thanks hebrews! I'm mostly just worried about it becoming a trend rather than a fluctuation - I don't have a lot of wiggle room with BMI because I'm so short 🥲 So just hoping it swings back eventually

But both bmi and weight aren't great indicators of health. For example I know of body builders that are 10% fat but listed as overweight. So just roll with the weight and look in the mirror take measurements progress pics they give u a better idea.

Good idea - I take a pic every time I work out and it doesn't look like I've gained fat so here's hoping

do you work out at the gym? they might offer body fat measurements that could help you track!

They don't have anything like that, I have a body fat scale to estimate the trend tho! The number may not be accurate but the trend tends to be from what I've researched.

Yeah, the accuracy on the scales doesn't matter as much as consistency. If it's going down, it's going down! Keep it up :-)

Thanks!! And thanks for reminding me I need to go get professionally measured, I'm super curious about what the number actually is
