well I need to lose weight that is for sure, but how, so it stays off that is the number one question .I've been reading a lot about this diet and that diet and foods that are good for you and what foods to stay away from people say just don't buy it but you know its out there and when you do run across it you go crazy and hunger for it . So I decided you can't hide so I just need to watch portions I guess portion control is the biggest thing for weight loss it taken me 30 years for this to sink in so today i'm going to measure my bowls and see which ones I need to use for portion control . I eat a lot of the right foods but I think to much of a good thing is bad too LOL but there is some bad food that I can't resist that I need to eat less of you know the food I'm talking about . So wish me luck

In my opinion, it is not about a Diet, it is about a Lifestyle change. You seem to have the right tools and knowledge, so I am sure you will not need any luck. I wish you all the best in your journey to a happier and healthier lifestyle.

Yes, you have to make permanent changes. You can't eat everything you want when you want it. You can have what you want some of the time. Exercise is also an important component in keeping the weight off or just having an active lifestyle. Losing is only half the battle, finding ways to keep it off is the other half.
