After an extended break, I'm finally giving this another crack. It's been a while, and I'm probably not ready mentally, but I need to try. I've been in a bad place lately, to the point my GP nearly admitted me to the mental health unit, but I'm clawing my way back. Nothing has changed, but I'm trying to push through. I am so spiritually exhausted. But things won't change, won't get better, if I don't try. So here I am, going slowly.

I was in a similar position early last year before I started dieting and exercise again. Give yourself a realistic goal to work towards and take it a day at a time and keep reminding yourself that you deserve to be happy. Good luck :)

It's OK to not be ok. A bit of a chiche, but it is true. Our relationship with food and exercise is so closely linked to our mental health and sometimes mental health has to come first. But it sounds like you are really working on it and that is all one can do! Remember you aren't alone and take it in small steps at a time.. lots of small steps make up to big ones. Take care of you 💓

Thank you everyone. I've had a lot going on other than my weight, a lot that I'll never be able to fix or control. But losing weight will help a little, so however many grams comes of is a win at this point.
