Still a long way to go but this is the lowest I have been in years🎉 I'm really pleased with my progress and hope I can keep it up. What I eat is far more healthy and I am really looking at portion control as I now know this has been my main downfall, I can still eat the 'nice' things. I don't stuff them away greedily but enjoy each mouthful and savour the taste and texture. I have never been someone who likes exercise, going to a gym would be one of my worst nightmares and teamsports even worse. So I am trying to do some form of calorie burning every day. I walk my dog but always remember to enjoy the view, watch the butterflies and admire the flowers and its surprising how much easier and enjoyable each step is, this isn't 'exercise' but a pleasurable way to spend an hour. I walk up and down the stairs every time I have something that needs to go up or down instead of leaving a pile on the stairs to take up the next time I have to go. We are lucky that we have a toilet both downstairs and up so I always use the one on the other floor to the one I'm on. I know these are just little changes but they all add up to make a difference and I don't feel I'm pushing or punishing myself to make a difference. I think I finally get that it has to be a lifestyle /mindset change and not a diet.
