Squiggly, it looks like it's from a leak. Have you had any rain lately? It'll start like this before it actually does get wet. But YES!!! Get it looked at before the chimney collapses, especially with all the tremors. Can't afford to lose you my dear. HAVE IT CHECKED OUT!!!

Yeah we had some pretty heavy rain a day or two beforehand. I keep losing track of time LOL. It will be interesting to hear what the men have to say today about it...

Not too harsh Bren, sometimes I need a good kick in the butt LOL. I have been doing incidental exercise like some walking and stacking wood the other day as well, but I know it is not enough...
I love ya too!

Ouch! Now I have big welts all over my backside! ROFL! Gee thanks Junebug.... ROFL! Yeah the waiting is more painful than the actual damage LOL. I guess no city is ever really prepared for a massive unexpected ongoing natural disaster....

Hey, I'll make you exercise if you make me exercise. The colder the weather gets the lazier I get!!! If I don't hurry and get busy it's going to be warm and I'll still be FAT!!!

I'm collecting scales to throw off my 12th story balcony if you would like to contribute. I hope everything works out okay with your chimney.

Hmmm it wasn't water. Definitely not they said. They don't know what it is but they did say our chimney above the roof and between the roof and ceiling is very very strong and safe. Which is good news!

Hi Squiggs. Do you have anyone you can be exercise buddies with? I exercise with my friend from work. We are each others motivators.

Squiggs I am so glad that the chimney isn't an immediate danger to you! It may be that you have a leak around the flashing on the chimney which is letting in some moisture.

Stef they said it wasn't moisture/water/rain at all. They do wonder if the wood framing has twisted slightly... they really didn't know but were very adamant that it wasn't a wet problem...
