I can't wipe the silly grin from my face; I finally cracked the 80kg mark. Low carb works for me. Next goal may take me a couple of years: 74kg. It would be faster if I gave up wine but that isn't going to happen, I enjoy it too much. Might cut it down though and enjoy less quantity of better quality wines so buy 2 $25 bottles rather than 5 $10 bottles per week. I suspect my liver and kidneys will be grateful too. I am so happy this morning! Edited: Just decided to add a Vital Strength PUREnWPI shake (which adds 26g protein) to my mornings when I don't cook breakfast.

All best wishes in your efforts.❣️Such a good feeling to crack that 80kg barrier. I’m doing the lower carb / good fats method too and like you, I have not given up wine. (Potatoes, bread, grains, & sugar is more than enough for me to give up at the moment )
