I was perusing some users profiles, because I do that sometimes. I saw someone had posted goals for herself and what rewards she would give herself once she reached those goals. I remember way back when during weight watchers the leader talked about setting goals and rewarding ourselves for reaching them. Thinking back through my childhood I cannot remember a time when celebrating achieving a goal did not revolve around stuffing our faces! So this concept of finding non food rewards is somewhat alien to me. So what are some rewards I can think of for obtaining some of my goals? This is something that I am going to give some thought to. You might want to as well... I dunno cause apparently I like giving people homework!!

I give myself $10 toward a trip to ireland for every pound I lose. On a good week its tough on my budget but totally worth it. It keeps me motivated to stay on my diet.

That is an awesome idea! Is the trip to Ireland when you get to your goal weight?

Wow, coincidentally discussing something similar in my post Jersey. What was offered as rewards or what and how much we were given or even made to eat growing up. Great post! ~tig
