Water weight fluctuates throughout the day, and a 6 pound flux is on the high end but still quite possible. I always weigh more in the evenings but how much more depends on my diet and activities that day. Only weigh yourself once per day, at the same time, mornings are most accurate. Also, make sure you stay hydrated because if you don't you will retain water weight.

There is a fluid build-up from the day and when you sleep it is used and magic, it disappears LOL I can not explain it correctly but my dr did. Google it on the internet, it is explained very clearly.

my trainer told me to weigh myself in the morning after I go to the bathroom and before I eat anything. this will give you more accurate numbers. weighing yourself at night will give you different numbers every day because it will depend on how much you drank or how much you ate.

6 is a lot. i'm usually up 3 by the end of the day and down again in the morning. I also do 3 readings.... and all 3 will be slightly different. I take the one I like the best! ;)

One daily first thing in the morning, post taking care of business is enough for me and more then enough to make me crazy. Anymore would push me over the edge. Would prefer to do it weekly, but I use the anxiety and stress I get after a weigh in to get me through the day.

Some days I can fluctuate up to 5lb from morning to night. 95% of that is water.

Everyone's water weight goes up and down all day. Some people are more susceptible to bloat and retain more water than others. If you have a lot of sodium, you may retain more water. Hormones make you retain water. Sore muscles from exercise make you retain water. All the food you eat and drink all day, the amount of carbs you eat daily, etc. all effect the scale. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. It's normal. I've weighed in the evening and been lower than the morning (dehydration).
