👍🏼 Good on you! Walking is probably the best all round exercise - I started 4 months ago with an occasional walk - every second day or so, at first I could barely manage a walk of 500 m without getting winded.
I gradually built it up over the past three months, now doing more thand 5 km daily - in 2-3 walks round our neighbourhood. Early morning walks before you have eaten anything are the most beneficial for weight loss. Additional walks keep you burning energy at a higher rate throughout the day.
I downloaded a couple of apps onto my phone that count the steps and tell you the distance, one keeps a map of your walk - so far, no two walks have been the same.
I love getting out there in the early morning before it gets hot 🥵.
