Well, January is almost over and I am very happy with my progress. I have lost 4.9 pounds since Christmas and have increased my elliptical interval runs from 30 mins to 60 mins (7 miles to 10 miles). I am on Day 8 of my JM 30 day shred video and am now doing 58 mins of Wii Fit every night with my daughter. Then because she is becoming independent she likes to play for 30 mins by herself, so I have started doing Power Yoga every night. I feel so relaxed and my back has not been hurting me as much if I stretch out after a day of activity and sometimes (like today) stress. I have also lost 3 inches around my waist, 1 inch around my hips, and 1 inch around each thigh.
Like I said very happy with my progress, however, when I look in the mirror it seems that I look flabbier now than before. I know it is because I am toning my muscles and will have to keep going and burn the fat off, but it is frustrating. Good thing it is the middle of the winter and we have below zero temperatures, more layers to hide the flab. Hopefully, by the time the weather gets warmer I will look more toned than flabby.
