Today is the first day of my diet since (September 2012) to finally reach my goal. Although very proud of what I have accomplished, and for the most part eat very healthy, I am hoping to reach my goal by my birthday May 19th. My goal is 148. My real goal is 136, but would like to reevaluate at 148. That's ~ 15 lbs. I was down and maintaining at 155. Crept up starting w Halloween, then holidays. It felt GREAT to get to the 150's!!! So I definitely want to see that scale going in the right direction. The first few days is exceptionally hard for me. Chips and chocolate are my downfall so I don't want them in the house. ( chocolate is lurking in the upper right hand cabinet). I have a tendency to be lazy when going to the gym. The weather is frightful. To maintain, I must regulate a at home work-out program as well. Crunches and arm strengthening would be a great start. I need a knee replacement and plan on having that surgery sometime in latter fall 2014. Must to be in the best possible shape for recovery. I have a great support system from my family. I also have Celiac's...no gluten. Another reason why I like Atkins. I used to be a size 18. Now I squeeze into an 8. Size 10 is more comfy. I'm thrill w that progess. I'm thrilled to buy new clothes. Even my "skinny" clothes had to be replaced w smaller sizes. It's time to finish the weight loss once and for all. :D
