KingKeld's Indulgence Diet day 1! (Thanks for writing down how you lost so much weight!)

Since I've been about the same weight for ±3 weeks I guess I'd try something new. I think KingKeld's the most "famous" person on FatSecret and since he reached his goal, I guess it's worth trying out his diet!

Things I have to do:
- Calculate DRI on www.healthycalculators.com
- Calculate RMR on http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php
- Multiply RDI with 7
- Multiply RMR with 2
- (7RDI-2RMR)/6 = NEWRDI
- Indulgence day = 2RMR

So 6 out of 7 days I should eat the NEWRDI, and the 7th day I should eat 2RMR.

*calculates*

RDI: 1460 (to lose 1.5lbs a week)
RMR: 1361
7RDI: 10220
2RMR: 2722
(7RDI-2RMR)/6=NEWRDI => (10220-2722)/6 = 1250 kcal

New RDI: 1250 calories/day
Indulgence day: 2722 calories/day

I hope I didn't make any mistakes, lol!

Anyhow, my weekly average would be 1450 calories/day (about the number of calories I had in week 3 of my diet and I lost about 1lbs that week so I think it's below my maintenance kcal)

A calorie is a calorie ... but I reduced calories and that did not prove true for me. So, I did a lot of research. What I am focusing on now is carbs. Not necessarily good versus bad carbs ... I just assume that it will be good cards .... but how quickly the blood sugar is impacted. So, a good carb is whole wheat bread but that has a very immediate impact on blood sugar ... whereas beef for example had no carbs. If you impact your blood sugar greatly and there is no need for the energy the calories go to fat. Then you have to figure how to burn the fat ......... Anyhow, I am 250 and I do not lose weight on 1500 calories per day! Unless I am diligent about not impacting blood sugar. You are actually talking about plateaus. But diets don't consider a plateau unless you are stuck for several weeks. It sounds to me like you talk about your body like you would talk about adding gas to your car and driving it so the gas burns. Bodies are more complex.

I cannot argue with KingKeld's success. If I don't start losing faster I amy have to try some extreme dieting myself. Best of luck.
