Starving and dizzy! I guess I need to hit the kitchen and put together a filling meal with low carbs and a lot of flavor! Time to get creative. Maybe try the Lime dressing recipe and make a salad.

sip on some salty chicken broth...it will help with the dizziness. And if you are hungry... eat more protein! Some cheddar cheese usually does the trick for me! Much success to ye!

The dizziness is from "atkins flu" - Flowerdude has it right... Drink some broth and symptoms will go away. Do not choose the reduced-salt broth...you need the "fully loaded" stuff. Or boullion will do nicely. Sip it daily for best results.

Thanks for the tip, I've never heard of that before. Interesting. I did have a salad with sliced steak and made the Cilantro Lime Dressing I found in recipes and found it delicious! Homemade dressings are so flavorful! The "diet" dressings I've been using (store bought) have a strange consistancy and bad after taste. The broth does sound yummy so I'll give that a try next time the dizziness hits!

The dizziness is due to sodium depletion. Atkins is a powerful diuretic diet at first, and that is what causes the symptoms of "Atkin's flu". It will pass, but the broth will help send it on it's way more quickly while your body adjusts to it's new fuel source...your stored fat! Have a great evening. I sent you a buddy request!
