BLC77's Journal, 14 Jan 09

Yesterday I baked a bunch of diet friendly muffins and cookies for my husband to take to work for breakfast and snack but I sampled more than I should have! WHOOPS. I also drank too much milk and ate a bigger lunch than I should have. Everything I ate was on plan just in too big a quantity. Needless to say there is no change in weight, but I can't expect a drop in weight every single day. I have to keep telling myself that it isn't healthy or realistic to lose a pound a day! I did get my exercise in though and today I am back on track! I am a little miffed that my husband has lost three pounds (not very nice of me I know) but my whole goal is to weigh less than him and he isn't making it very easy! I am at 200 and he is at 193. Shamefully I am 5'4 and he is 6', awful I know. I most look like a big amorphous blob next to him.

Hi, I have been going on and on for the last few days about Paul McKenna that was on UKTV over the weekend and he said to eat all your meals really slowly, i.e. put food in your mouth place your knife and fork down and chew at least 20 times. This helps by telling your brain that you are full. But you have to concentrate on what you are eating so that the messages get through. I have and am trying it and I am eating less. Have a go and see how much you don't eat.
