Starting to lose the water weight from my flight home from DC. Was in ketosis yesterday but not this morning. Guess those dim sum fillings have more carbs than I thought. Got onto the treadmill for the first time since Christmas Eve Day. Felt good.

I am sure you will be back in Ketosis in no time. Sometimes I will show no or just trace in the morning, but in the afternoon the stick will turn purple....I think there are so many variables with them that I only use them as a guide and don't get upset anymore if they don't change color every time. Glad the treadmill felt good...still trying to get there today..don't know if it is going to happen...aggghhh

Yes, Pinky is right. We all spill ketones at different times of the day. Try checking at different times, find the one that gives the best recording and test at the same time. Some people spill best in the morning. I do best around 4-6pm. Others late at night. I'm sure you'll find what works best for you.

Thanks, ladies. I'm not too worried about the ketostix. Even though I wasn't in ketosis this morning, I lost a lb of water weight overnight. I'll take the l lb loss over a pink ketostix any day! :) We're having pot roast for dinner tonight, so maybe I'll even get that pot roast "whoosh".
