Can someone help me!I am concerned with my fat intake on my rdi on the bottom of this page when I enter my food intake. Is it supposed to be that high? It seems like fat is higher than anything else on there. Now I know to expect the carbs to be low, but it just seems like fat is usually over 50 %. Is this 50% of my daily allowed fat or is 50% of what I eat fat? Someone help me out with this? I just don't want to eat too much fat. I am also concerned about how this will effect me long term.

Hi Andee, yes you're doing fine. My fat content is usually 60-65%, carbs are 10% or less, and protein is 25-30%. I would suggest that you look at the diet calendars of other FS members who are steadily losing weight on Atkins. That's probably the best way to reassure yourself. :)

My fat is usually 60-70%, I know it is the opposite of what we have been brainwashed to do, but just keep doing what you are doing, you weight loss looks great!!

The pie chart %'s are of what you are eating. As you enter additional foods for the day you will see that update. The RDI is the total recommended calories for the day.
