I'm pretty proud of myself for this one :).
It has been a few years since I've weighed under 200 pounds. The last time I weighed 199lbs, I was in quite a bit better shape then I am this time, the reason being I was doing weights and cardio 5-6 times a week and a restrictive diet. This time however I've done very minimal exercise, and made only small changes to my eating habits, so I feel this will be far more sustainable then my previous attempts of maintaining a healthy weight.
So after losing over 40 pounds, I've noticed an increase in energy and mobility as well as a reduction of the chronic mental fog and general fatigue I was experiencing . I feel so much better and am looking forward to more progress.
I picked up two 20 lbs dumbbells' to walk around with for a few minutes around the house to remind me of exactly how much weight that feels like, it's a lot!! In my mind when I envision my 40lbs of excess weight I try to compare it to about what 40 lbs of butter would look like, and envision melting it away with all my good choices!
Trust me, if I can do this, you definitely can!
