I'm not tryna get too excited about how much ass I kicked today but I feel good. I ate really well. I drank plenty of water. I was feeling myself yesterday too when macros were on point. But when I looked more closely I realized I didn't get enough fiber which explains, well, never mind. So, I tried a new tortilla wrap by Mission called Plant Powered Protein which helped things move along. It didn't taste good but I toasted it and that kind of helped. Still kinda cardboardy though.
My meals are ready for tomorrow and I can't wait to have roasted chickpeas with tzatziki. It'll be heavy on the carbs but low on fat and a butt load of fiber.
I can't give up carbs. I just can't do it. It doesn't help when I see so many people get great results on Keto. Gosh- losing 10 lbs after just a week or so sounds so good. However, I am in charge of making food for my family. If dinner doesn't include rice, potatoes, pasta, or bread they don't think that's a real dinner. So I gotta just be careful and measure and keep trying. Good night. More tomorrow.
