You cut a hole in the middle of a slice of bread, put the bread in a frying pan, crack an egg in the hole, and you have "toad in a hole." Just don't for get the butter or oil so it doesn't stick to the pan.

My family calls this dish “Egg in a Piece of Toast,” my husband’s uncle calls it “Howard’s Egg,” and someone told me it was “Toad in a Hole.”
Not the healthiest breakfast, but an easy one:
