Sweat It Out Saturday!
My goal for Saturdays is to push myself harder than usual, especially knowing Sunday will be my rest and relaxation day. My boxing gloves came in today, no more having to take turns with my boyfriend's gloves! Not having to switch off the gloves made it much easier to keep our momentum with strict 1 minute rest periods, instead of it dragging out into 2-3 minutes of chatting as we swap and rest. I was stoked to see that I kept my heart rate up through the entire routine!
My cool down walk was realllyyy short tonight; the wind was blowing and it feels like 25* with the wind chill.
I'm still determined to push myself tonight, so I'm off to spend some time on the recumbent bike. I would like to burn off an extra 250+ calories tonight to maintain a daily deficit of 1000 calories.
