Fitness Friday! My goal on Friday's is to add something new to my workout routine and change things up.
My current workout routine is 3 minutes hitting the heavy bag, 1 minute rest, 3 minutes of jump rope, 1 minute rest, repeat x4. Then I walk for at least 1.5 miles to cool down, up to 4.5 miles.
We switched it up today which was fun! 1 minute hitting the bag, 1 minute rest, repeat x10. My only regret is not getting started earlier in the day!
My walk was only one loop of 1.5 miles, currently feels like 28* and a gross rain/snow mix is falling. I wanted to do another loop; unfortunately my shoes were soaked and I was freezing. Meh, at least I got out there.
Now, I'm off to start day 1 of a booty workout via Fitbit!
Changing things up and adding in different exercises is a great way to make it feel like less of a chore and more of an enjoyable activity.
